Is it easy to maintain and update my app
Yes, this is one of the reasons we created xappfactory. If you can use a computer, you can build and maintain your app with our services. Gone are the days of calling the IT department every time a changes or update is required. You maintain the content and we will do the rest; from hosting, maintenance, bug fixes, upgrades, enhancement, etc. It all included in the standard subscription pricing.
Can I make changes to my app after it is published?
Yes, anytime and as much as you need to. Most updates are automatically and immediately pushed to everyone that has the app on their phone.
How xappfactory is working?
xappfactory is a Javascript Framework that allows you to build custom plugins on our Platform. Using standard HTML5, CSS3, React Native, Javascript, node.js and expo functions you can build custom UI and logic that lives on that App and Control Panel. xappfactory gives you access to the app and native device functions that would otherwise be inaccessible to you.
If I develop a custom feature, do I then need maintain the entire app?
No, you only maintain the plugins you develop. Our subscription plans covers all future maintenance, app store submission (Enterprise & Developer), updates and customer support, etc. You focus on developing value added functionality, let us handle the rest.
If I want to create custom features, do I need to find a developer?
Nope! Our team will do it for you in a timeframe and cost that will amaze you. However, if you want to do it yourself, we provide an open development portal with all the tools needed to create totally custom functionality. Hire our team developers, use your own developer or do it yourself — it is up to you.
Can my plugin communicate with my private backend servers?
Yes. We even show you how to avoid cross domain issues when trying to access them from your dashboard. Cross domain issues are resolved either by enabling CORS on your API server or enabling jsonp communication with your servers.
How do I upgrade my subscription?
You can change your plan anytime during your subscription, simply login to your dashboard and click setting and find your billing plan status and change it.
How long will it take to see my app on stores?
Since you have finished your app customization It usually takes few days (1 to 2 days) to approve (by google) and publish your app on play store for downloads. For iTunes it could be a little longer (2 to 5 days)
Do I need Apple and Google Developer accounts?
Both Apple and Google do require that you open your own developer accounts, yes. However, our publishing team will handle the heavy lifting to actually submit your apps to the App Store and Google Play.
